academic projects.

My university experience has been an extraordinary journey full of fun memories and unexpected surprises. One of the things I am extremely grateful for is the opportunity to partake in different academic projects and business competitions. I have learned so much through participating in these hands-on experiences, as I have expanded my knowledge in business, grown my network, and had an amazing time while doing so. Here are my favourite projects that I worked on over the last few years of my university career. Presentations were created using Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.

Entrepreneurship Hub: Improving Ottawa's Tourism

Participated in the University of Ottawa Entrepreneurship Hub's workshop event to improve Ottawa's tourism. Working in a small team, my group members and I devised a solution to bring a trending new venture to introduce to the city, for which we were rewarded a $1,500 cash prize as a result.

Intopia Simulation Game

Collaborated with group members on a variety of strategic decisions to successfully run a business, placing 1st in our respective category amongst 40 teams participating in the simulation.

Stoked Oats "Oatrice" Marketing Campaign

Crafted a detailed marketing strategy and analysis for a new oat-based food called Oatrice, pitching the idea to the founder and CEO of Stoked Oats, Simon Donato. The marketing campaign contains a detailed breakdown of a situational analysis,  marketing and promotional recommendations, pricing strategies, and more.

Stoked Oats Launch Plan

Conducted extensive market research, applying theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world marketing challenges, which then helped our group to develop a comprehensive marketing plan and pitch, which was highly regarded in a competitive class environment.

OCISO Fundraising Competition

Directed a successful fundraising campaign and live-music event, raising $6,000 in three weeks through strategic planning and community engagement.
